Text Messages

Get account updates via text message

We know you are busy! Sign up to receive texts:

  • When your items are ready to pick up
  • When items are due back soon
  • When items are overdue

Note: We do not charge for this service, but your regular mobile text rates will apply.

To add or remove the text message option, follow the steps below:

  1.  Use this link to add/remove text messaging: Access Your Library Account. This is a temporary workaround – we do not have this option in our new catalog yet but hope to soon!
  2. Click Edit Account.
  3. Scroll to Mobile Settings.
  4. Enter your mobile phone number in the designated box.
  5. [Important] Opt in by clicking the box (a check mark should appear). Opt out by removing the check.
  6. Scroll down and click Submit to save your changes. It may take up to 24 hours to activate. You will receive a text that requires you to reply with authorization to receive messages.
